New Year Sermon Series - ReFocus

As the year turns, there is always new opportunity: Fresh energy to take on new projects, new perspective from lessons learned and hope that the not-so-good of 2011 is behind us. This year we want to use this new start to spend four weeks re-focusing our lives around the mission of God.

How does our agenda line up with God's? How do our resolutions align with God's purposes for us and for the world? We will be spending four weeks looking at different aspects of God's Mission and provide opportunity for each of us to refocus our lives around the gospel. Click here to listen.

2012 - Bible Reading Plans

3 steps for taking in God's Word for 2012:

1) Have a plan. Without a plan and a commitment to your plan, other things will crowd out the regular reading of Scripture.

2) Share your plan with others (even better - read along with others!)

3) Follow through even when you get behind. Give yourself grace to catch up and to adjust your timetable. It's better to keep on reading than to give up all together if you fall behind.

Women's One day conference - THIS SAT. Jan. 21st

Infusion church in Escondido has invited all the women of Harbor North County to attend their upcoming conference. Anchor - Young Adult Events

Bowling Fellowship, January 20
Anchor is hosting a bowling fellowship at Mira Mesa Lanes this Friday at 8:00pm. Shoe rentals are $3.50. Meet for dinner at the Chick-fil-A in the same plaza at 6:45pm. If you have trouble finding Mira Mesa Lanes, it's behind Bed Bath and Beyond/Kohls.

The first hour will be paid for by Harbor so come on out and enjoy some friendly competition!

Forum - The Grind: Redeeming Your Day to Day Starts February 2 Join us for Forum every 1st Thursday of the Month! It's a time for young adults discuss issues of truth and life. This spring, we'll look at faith & work. We'll be looking at the biblical foundations for work, vocation and calling, and faith in the workplace, culminating in a panel of working professionals who will discuss what faith work out for them in the workplace.

Leaders Training - Winter Session

Training begins on Jan. 29. All participants in the Fall Session must be registered. If interested in participating, contact , space is limited.

Community Groups @ Harbor

Community Groups are the heart of our church. Gospel growth and mission happen only in a community doing life together with gospel intentionality - that's the purpose of our groups. Winter Sign ups begin Jan. 22.

Pre-marital Class - Coming Soon!

Planning on getting married soon or newly married? We will be holding a class for engaged couples in April-May. Please email Eric at to be put on the interest list.

Couples Checkup Class - Also coming soon!

In March/April We will be offering married couples the opportunity to take inventory of their marriage relationship through a brand new course. We will offer  an overview of God's design for marriage,  a PREPARE-ENRICH assessment to  identifies the unique strengths and potential growth areas relationship and follow-up exercises/options tailored to the needs of your marriage. Dates and cost to be announced soon.

Fusion Fridays

Fusion Fridays (5-7th grades) kick back off on Jan. 20th! At the Carmel Valley Rec Center 3800-A Mykonos Lane 92130.  7-8:30pm. Games, snacks, fun and a gospel-focused message! Contact Kris Mack for the full 2012 schedule.

Baja Bound

A ministry dedicated to the construction of homes among the working poor and through creative and engaging ministry and food programs for the children in these communities.
